Whole animals

You have a big freezer and feel like having meat always on hand? You should think about purchasing a whole animal. An option that is good for your savings!

Whether you are interested in beef, pork or lamb, la Ferme des petits Torrieux offers a high-quality, hormone-free meat that was ethically raised.  Please note that the whole animal is cut and packed at the MAPAQ-certified butcher. As every animal has a different weight, it is hard for us to let you know the exact price while you put in your order, but please note that our beef on average weight around 500 pounds, our veal around 300 pounds and our pork closer to 200 pounds. We do have some lamb available as well and the average weight is about 50 pounds.


Cost per pound by animal

  • Beef: 4.35$/pound + cutting and slaughter fees
  • Veal: 4.35$/pound + cutting and slaughter fees
  • Pork: 2.85$/pound + cutting and slaughter fees
  • Lamb: 8.50$/1pound + cutting and slaughter fees
  • Chicken from 6 to 10 pounds: 3.75$/pound (fees included)
  • Turkey from 10 to 15 pounds: 4.00$/pound (fees included)

Please note that all cutting and slaughter fees are around $1 per pound.

Once your order is sent, you will be able to choose your meat’s cuts with the butcher. Here’s a guide to help you and give you some ideas:

Our opening hours

  • Thursday: 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm
  • Friday: 1 pm to 4 pm
  • Saturday: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

You can make an appointment to see us outside normal opening hours.
